Five care rules
- Never add water. Keep stems and the inside of the vase completely dry.
- Choose indirect light. A bright room is fine; a sunny windowsill is not.
- Avoid humid rooms. Keep arrangements out of bathrooms and away from kettles or humidifiers.
- Dust lightly. Use a clean, cool hair dryer on its lowest setting from a distance, or a very soft artist's brush.
- Move the base, not the blooms. Hold the vase or tied stem bundle when relocating the arrangement.
If a stem bends
Support a bent stem with a thin floral wire or trim it and use it in a bud vase. Do not soak or steam dried stems; moisture can damage nearby materials.
Seasonal refresh
Turn the arrangement a quarter turn every few months so fading stays even. If one colour dulls faster, replace only those stems or shift the palette with a few new focal flowers.
